Maybe its because the pediatric section I used to go until I was 17 always smelled like strong antiseptic cleaning materials. Or maybe its because the doctors tended to make some pretty useless diagnosis comments. Not always but a fair amount would start to say something that didn't seem great to hear.

Perhaps its because my kid dentist almost had me get braces when it was clear that I didn't need them. Or the fact that my current regular doctor pushed my mom out of the room during the consultation and told me that if I had any personal questions or comments to make without my mom in the room, I could tell my doctor without worrying that my mom would learn. O.o I really trust my parents and if anything horrible happened to me, I'd say something instead of hiding it from them. Part of me almost wanted to smack the doctor when she asked if did drugs, drank heavily, or had frequent sexual activity. Uh hello doctor? I told you earlier that I had never even had a boyfriend, let alone been kissed by one.
