I'm pretty handy with good quality edits, so in a totally non-mean and honest way, If you want to have really good edits, one of the most important things is a good camera and lighting~ Even if your camera is low megapixel, good lighting will make it look really good. I would just avoid taking pictures in places with low lighting like in rooms and bathrooms because once you add effects it makes it kinda pixely. I think it would look just fine without the pink lips and blush too :)
